This might be a dumb question, I just started using litestep amd I haven't been able to configure lsmail to check my e-mail, what does the line read? the one for server, user name and pass. Please post an example. :(

pd: this not check hotmail :P

its like this:
*lsmail "servername" x y server user pass

example with softhome
*LsMail "softhome:" 50 100 pop.softhome.net alex god

(well .. i just remembering how...
i dont remember if is just like that :P

Note that you don't have to put your password into step.rc (ie. save it as plan text). If you leave it out LSMail will display a dialog box where you can type it in.
