Odd Taskbar Behaviour Thread last updated on 2003-08-26 04:27:18

I've done a search of the forums and Google'd it, but have been unable to find an answer.
I'm using Litestep on Windows XP Pro SP1 with the theme "Excalibur II," although as far as I've tested, this is a Litestep problem rather than the fault of a theme.
I'm unable to use the taskbar to switch between open programs. Rather than displaying the corresponding program, the taskbar item just flashes when clicked. The strange this is, if the window is minimized I can click the taskbar item and it'll display with no problems.
If this is unclear I apologize. I've tried my best to explain it, don't flame me for that.

what vwm do you use?
a possible reason is if VWMNoSwitchOnFocus is in your step.rc... you might want to check that

make sure your modules are updated to their latest respective builds.

Try loading another VWM, like ckVWM or RabidVWM, instead of VWM2.dll. They work right out of the box so to say. Also try this somewhat updated taskbar3.dll.

Hope that helps...
