im a newbie using LS
recently when i changed a style in a theme i pops up a message:
"error:exception during bang command execution please contact the module writer

bang parameters:"

is it something bad??

what can i do

im using w2k
the theme is litescape 3.0

It means there's a bug in a module you use and/or the theme uses a !bang incorrectly. The messagebox should mention the !bang's name. Try to find out which module registers the !bang and contact the module author. Or post back here with the name of the !bang.

i see those pesky error messages too - when recycling 0.24.7
the !bang names are usually different, familiar bangs such as "!TasksToggle" or or "!VWMRight" (hell, even "!Popup"), but also non-setting bangs like "!SystrayIconInfo". Or what about "Error" or "\ã¹?" or "(?ö".
all very weird. never have these error messages when running the same theme (and same settings) in 0.24.6 .....

That's because 0.24.6 used to silently swallow such errors. However they usually indicate bugs in modules, that's why the MessageBox was added.
