Ok, i read the 'theme creation' on
http://ls-ots.cjb.net/ and to be honest, i didnt understand a damn thing. i configured the step.rc, but thats all i understood. Do i need c++ skills or such to make my own LiteStep OTS theme ?
no you don't you only need thze module readmes to know which setting can be set and what it does.
In our LSTM2 is a step.rc preset file includet which already shows how a a OTS step.rc has to look like and how to do an include or a LoadModule.
ahh, ok ...but in that tutorial i told ya about there was no description on how to make the design and such so when does that part come ?
I wrote a small help in design creating (how to design images in the right way) it is also includet in the LSTM2 help chm file. perhaps this could also help you a little bit further
check out shell-shocked.org, there are some theme creation tutorials. they're not all (any?) written for ots, but the design concepts and such are still valid. and there was a really cool theming tutorial on shellfront a couple years ago, have no idea if it's still there.
