right now i have the latest litestep \ indie build. I use Minus+ as my theme , which unforutunatly has been abondoned by its creator. Systray2 is having tons of problems with XP, and i would like to replace it with vtray. This is where it starts getting weird. There is no load module command for systray2, grdTransparent is set to load systray2, and thats how it generally works. I tried replacing the line "*grdtransparent Systray2 0 1" with "*grdtransparent Vtray 0 1", along with the load module line "LoadModule $LiteStepDir$\vtray.dll." Now it seems to load vtray fine, but systray2 is still hagning around. If theres no LoadModule line for it, how do i remove it ?????

(( Step.RC trimmed from post by admin. ))

Dont bother contacting the author, i already tried.

You should read the Vtray documentation so that you can make sure you have the right code. It might be harder than just changing everything to Vtray.

whenever you have a problem like this, ALWAYS check your other theme configuration files. in your case, there's a bang in script.mz called "!DesktopInit," which loads (!ReloadModule) systray2.dll.
