I am big brother to a young Russian kid.
He brought a old Japanese think pad (380ED) to me and asked me to install English windows on it for him...

Dudes, there is nothing uglier than windows 95 but thats all I got for him
(and thats all it'll take, prob)

Is there a theme I can put on his box? --- That will make him the kewlest guy at school?

that must be a heck of a theme to make him the coolest :D
anyways, why don't u ask your brother to choose something. litestep is not only the looks but the functionality too. so if your brother is going to use it most of the time he should pick the theme. there are many good themes here on ls.net in the THEMES section and there's lsthemes.com of course :)

Am I limited to stuff only for 95?

He is still just learning to manage windows (imean the square frame like thing)
he doesnt know what to do with a choice yet.

he is 10

the only thing that win95(98 and ME too) doesn't do is per-pixel alpha transparency. and the modules that can to that right layercuts, shortcut3, and maybe a one more a can't think of. for the most part you need not worry about it. theme authors normal state if a theme is 2k/XP only

If he is ten, then he doesnt need an Alt shell... let him learn how to manage the os's shell first...hell... let him find out what a shell is first, and if his other class mates are 10 as well, most, thats most, will have the defualts anyway, just recolor the 3d obects for him, and set up a nice wall, something he likes.

Dont be that family member who makes something "they" like, for someone els.

not to mention its for school, function over form is what you want here, i still use paper bags to cover my books.

If your brother isn't yet familiar with Windows and you really want him to use LS then I would recommend he uses Simplicity until he becomes more familiar with both.

You really don't want to be installing all sorts of bizaar themes if you don't know how to fix your system when something goes wrong.

Thanks I will check (Simplicity) it out.
