Litestep interfering with program key combos... Thread last updated on 2003-08-10 17:03:55

Hello, I play CS quite a bit, and when I hold ctrl + W it does not do the ingame action i want it to do. I found a ls hotkeys folder with a ctrl+w combo in it which i removed from the file and the problem still remains..

I have tried a new keyboard, new drivers, and reinstalling CS to no avail. I finally switched to explorer to see if LS was the problem, and that key combo works fine in explorer...

Is there any other file i can look into, or tinker with to make it not interfere with this specific key combo?

I got the same problem with other games (AAO, and Ravenshield, only those, the other work well)

This problem is only an 0.24.6 problem, cause ilmcuts made in the .7 beta a hidemodule command which hides all LS Module when something starts in full screen.

Right now we're trycing to do that for the 0.24.6 version by an module (holding fingers that it works :D).

Ok, all of you could now say "use the .7 beta" but I don't want to, cause it just works sadly not well with mzscript.

So wait some days and I hope we'll release the module :) we're working on :)

I run .24.7b3 and have no issues at all with mzscript. Also...to fix your game problems what you want to do is go through your hotkey config for your theme and fix it so that Ctrl+W etc aren't defined to LS.

@Devilboi: so please try out my Theme Gozer if it works. when I used the .7Beta, nothing works., just the startup sequence, but than everying stoped, so I killed the beta and decidet to wait until a new mzscript is there (and I realy pray that it is usable with older scripts)

just because a theme can't use mzscript on .7b3 doesn't mean that mzscript on b3 is bunk. Changes were made to mzscript and if they didn't follow them then its there own problem. I am using a heavily scripted version of Thin right now with b3 and no issues.

I installed b3 and it fixed my problem, and this actually runs much better than the previous indiestep i had running!
Thanks alot guys!
