*ilmcuts, if are back form holiday, read this ;) that's exactly what I ment ;)*
Well, lets do some help for now.
It depends on which OS you use:
Win2000 or WinXP:
start your engine -> CTRL + ALT + DEL -> Running Process -> Quit Litestep ----> File -> Run New Process -> x:\Litetsep\LSTS.exe (or browse for that) -> choose Theme a working Theme nd Litestep will automicly run after choosing a Theme.
Win9x or WinME:
Shut down your PC -> Enter BootDisc to get into DOS Mode -> Enter 'EDIT' -> seek with this bule screened Editor to x:\Litestep\Step.rc and open it -> Edit the line:
dirTheme "$LitestepDir$themes\THEMENAME\"; Added by LSTS
Enter For 'THEMENAME' a Theme you know it works -> save file -> reboot WITHOUT the BootDisc -> it Runs ;)
---------------------------------------------------
This is what I ment, we're going to release a Patch for Litestep which makes it impossible to have this kind of problem. On recycle we ask if the theme works right. If you choose 'YES and Never aks me again (for current Theme' you will never asked anymone for the current Theme. If 'NO' you can choose between some sequences (explorer or something like that) to give you the chance to fix ist with LSTS.
By Doubleclicking the tool (LSCheck.exe) it will show you your Themes and you can change the vale of 'asking' (special for Themers who want to work on, and have to recycle often, for trying out new ideas).
It will be only for 0.24.6 Core, cause we do not have the 0.24.7 source (*looks at DevilBoi* ;) ) but we hope to get this also soon and patch it too. (backup of the unpatched Litestep.exe is also includet, so noone needs to cry) ;)
