I would like to try using Litestep but my current computer situation is a bit restricting. We are using Windows 2000 with a single user account that is automatically logged in at startup. If possible I would like the startup procedure for the non-LS users of the computer to be the same as it is now, with no need to enter a username or anything.

Is it possible to add an option to run LS to the Advanced Options menu (the one that appears when F8 is pressed during boot-up), maybe through the use of another user account that only gets used if that option is selected?

Maybe someone can recommend a better way which would allow me to use LS without affecting the other users of this computer at all.

thanks,

Download a Shell Manager like Carapace or ShellOn.

Thanks, I'll give one of those a try.
Is there one that's better than the other or are they both pretty equal?
