ip address Thread last updated on 2003-07-28 06:06:55

I like to have my dial-up / dial-in / by isp-assigned ip address be shown on the desktop. I have a module called Labelxs.dll. It can be fixed on desktop and shows up information like time - date. but there isn't anything mentioned about ip addresses in the module's manual. Additionally I have rarely found any modules that have anything to do with networking. So I finally end up here and write a new thread to ask you about this topic. Do you know if such a module exists ? Hm, and if this module has a function that automatically copy&pastes this ip to the clipboard by a hotkey combination..wow..I really would apprechiate it.

label.dll is able to show a PC's IP address but I'm can't confirm this will work for a modem as opposed to a NIC.

Labelxs is a hacked version of label missing many of label's features. Try label 1.98/1.99 instead. It supports [ip(0)], [ip(1)] etc.
If you want net in/out get rainmeter.

Thanks for info. I got it to work perfectly. It shows dial up IP and copies it to clipboard by leftclicking.
