The first one doesn't work, the last one does, what about the other 7 shortcuts? My first question would have to be, does the executable for notepad exist in the shortcuts folder?

What does "-display 3" do?

It would be wiser to start (using OTS and) enviroment variables here anyway. Just mark the paths as $TXTEditor$ etc. and define them all somewhere else, for example in the beginning of the file for easy access.

thanks a tonne for the response.
but in the tweaking process i found that the other shortcuts were being controlled by the lslnk.dll which we do not find generally in new themes, i just removed the "include lslnk.dll" line and the issue was solved. i also solved the error which pops up when loading this theme , and now i am using it at 800x600 resolution.

and i do not know as to what does the "display -3" do? perhaps it is connected with "lslnk.dll" but i am quite unable to find the help about it in the ls docs.
