The manule to layercut.dll was really empty on details so I tried the best I could to make a shortcut transparent but all it did was flicker and go opaque. I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix it or a beter way to make Shortcuts
transparent?

you're using win2k/xp, right? cause only they support per-pixel alpha-transparency. and was your image alpha transparent? and what was the code you wrote? details man, details...
