Does this module exist? Thread last updated on 2003-01-28 16:16:52

Is there such a module as something like a LsLnkMenu that can be toggled to stay open most of the time? I can do this with hard-coded shortcuts, but it would be great to be able to point to a folder like LsLnkMenu does. Thanks for any suggestions!

hrmmm...there is that QuickLaunch module. But it is icons only.

what you are looking for is lnkbox.dll http://www.loose-screws.com/comment.php?type=mod&id=95

the QuickLaunch module DeViLbOi mentioned is a little dangerous to use. never delete stuff from it, it will not delete not only the shortcut, but also the file it is pointing to.

lslnkmenu indeed exists and i've heard it can be made ontop with hooking it to a lsbox

Thanks for the replies, all.

odt, I know lslnkmenu exists, but I was wondering whether it or anything like it could be made to stay open. I will check into the lsbox hook idea, thanks.

Lnkbox looks like it might partially do what I need... but my real objective is to have multiple boxes, much like lslnkmenu can do. Maybe I'm missing something in the configs? In the past I've tried lsquickbox and a few other modules that could only have one box.

I'd like to try the QuickLaunch module; where can I get it? Haven't found anything on Loose-Screws...

LSQuickBox is the module

i've personally had some odd experiences with lsquickbox. my understanding is that it had been dead for a while, and that it still has some issues.
