I've had several crashing probs as a new user with LiteStep. This one takes the cake. I can do NOTHING with my comp. right now, except open up a web browser with my middle mouse button. The Doublet Theme is louding to a wallpaper and cursor but doesnt responde in any other way. How can I fix this TONIGHT PLEASE!!! SOMEONE And how can I avoid this crap in the future.

Launch LSTS and switch to a working theme. Get the fixed LSTS from charliehamster.co.uk/litestep.html. Open the directory of the theme that didn't work. Delete the .thm file. Launch LSTS again and switch to the theme.

Thanks for the help.

Uhh or not

I couldnt launch LSTS if the shell wouldn't load, so I couldn't change themes.

As for avoiding this "crap in the future" I meant something like a shell selector or something.

Thanks anywayz

nomar116: Press ctrl-alt-f1 or (if you are using NT4/2k/xp) use the task manager (ctrl-shift-esc).

Egonz: There always were and there always will be recurring questions. Even a good FAQ won't help.
