Existing Visual Styles vs. Litestep? Thread last updated on 2003-12-18 10:41:56

I'm new to Litestep here, and I have a quick question before I start playing around with the configs. Does Litestep conflict with existing visual styles? I currently use stylexp to switch themes on my com, and I don't know what effect installing Litestep will cause. Thanks.

I found that if I was using visual styles then applications would randomly become sticky when switching VWM's. I'm not aware of any other conflicts. Many other people are using visual styles without any problems.

I havent had any trouble at all, the only thing you can do is try.

How do I disable visual styles? I gather this is an XP feature, but I can't find controls for it.

I'm trying to follow the instructions in the austerity ReadMe: "NOTE: If you are using WinXP and find that maximized windows move whenever workspaces are changed, disable visual styles."
