If you want to set it, access the display properties (always available through the control panel).

Using litestep means the desktop isn't the same--I assume your favorite way to access the display properties is through the context menu of explorer's desktop.

If you want a direct way, bind a popup entry or hotkey or something to run control.exe desk.cpl

desk.cpl alone could work too.
