Explorer and Litestep conflict Thread last updated on 2003-07-01 04:44:21

It seems that when I'm using explorer.exe (strictly as the file manager, not the shell), that if I right on any file and leave the menu open for a couple seconds, Winamp will start spazing out place long pauses in the song and then play for a couple seconds, then another pause, and so on and so forth. It only does this in the file manager (which in this case is explorer). Is this a bug or conflict or something with either Explorer.exe or LiteStep?

Thanks,
GAT

I think this is a known bug with Windows that causes the CPU to max out. Try searching technet.

More important is which windows are you using, it happens to windows 98 even with the explorer shell anyway when you use the start menu. If you are using other versions of windows then it could be another problem we are talking about...
