my apps dont appear on the litestep systray, the only icon that is there, is the windows sound volume icon,

what might be wrong? im using windows xp

sounds like you didn't boot straight into LiteStep. If you don't boot straight into LiteStep there is the possibility of icons getting lost.

which theme? how big is your systray set to be? need a BIT more info.

this is like it on any theme, even simplicity..and LMAO wth has desktopx got to do with this..no im not using it

What about Object Desktop? Any stardock product(s)? Doesn't matter if you already uninstalled them... Oh and you aren't running LS ontop of another shell, right?

i have a fresh windows xp installation..only thing i have installed before litestep is anti virus.
some icons appeart though..the programs that run after the lan connection is up and that is msn messenger..if i want win sound icon there now, then i have to go to sound properties and take the show on the system tray tick off and then put it back on, antivir is supposed to be on the tray too but its not

litestep is set as the default shell for all users.its not on top of others

what version of litestep are you using? the systray has had many, many updates within the past year or so to make it compatible with windows 2000. it's entirely a possibility that you have an outdated or bad build of systray2.dll. try a different build of that module to see if you get the same problems.
