Yup, the question is simple, i saw a lot of superb sc, and i want to know which kind of style the people prefer...

i love minimal... simple an useful at the same time :)

it all depends on the theme and the design. for example i love BiohazardII, which is very minimalistic, but also Glaze, which is not so minimal bar-theme :)

I voted "mix of some style or all" because I like themes that take up very little real-estate but contains a lot of functionality.

For me, I like Any kind of theme, as long as the functionality that I am looking for is contained therein. I mean, I like my GeNome theme quite a bit(not to brag or anything) cause the things I used most where right there just a click or two away.

I personally have a hard time using minimalist themes because there always seems to be something I reach for that isn't there (whether it be a missing VWM, LSXCommand, or even no tasks). Bar or Box based themes always seem to get in my way, so the only other reliable option was the swiss-army bar.

I used to be really into minimalistic themes but now I'm in to eye-candy themes :). Too bad none of them exist anymore.
