im so new i dont know what the hell you guys are talking about i DLed ls last nite and i was trying to get themes to work. the theme/installer i DLed was simplicity, and it is terrific i think it the best twist on windows since the KDE shell for linux, but i dont know how to do anything at all. i cant switch themes (excpet to phen.type2,but even then i dont get the bg)and i dont know how to set bg's please help.
To change background images go into the Display section of the Control Panel and select a background.
also, just because the screenshot of a theme has a specific wallpaper featured, doesn't mean the theme will have it included. and in 99% of the themes, they won't be.
oh I just love newbies :) then again I guess we all were @ one point in time ;)
yeah, but some of us had more sense than some of these people seem to. ;) and no, pop[sic]kill, I'm not talking about you. and, I just noticed the first part of your problem. what happens when you try to switch to themes other that phen.type2? and if you're going to reply back saying nothing, then I'm going just tell you to read the forums. there's dozens of threads concerning that exact problem.
when i try to switch to other themes it just goes to the default windows blue haze backround, and i lose everything, except any apps (i.e. aim, kazaa, etc.) i have open at the time, no tool bars, and no right click. thanks for youe help, please keep helping heheh

does omar's installer still include that old buggy version?
