Hello!

First of all, my name is Jason Wilson and I am basicaly a newbie to LiteStep. I downloaded it the other day and installed it on WinXP Home and I love it so much but I do have a couple questions though.

I apologize in advance if this is too simple a question!

1. How do I change the font used?
2. How do I change the font colors?

Thanks in advance!

Jason

which font? i mean what module is used etc?
btw those things should be in the docs too so you could do a bit reading and solve the problem by yourself. check the step.rc and edit :)

it foesn't matter which module, in every module where you can show fonts is a fontcolor, fontsize and font tag. now you only have to know how the font you want to use is called and change it (same at size and color). mostly colors are written like '000000' so the values of colors are not realy hard to find ;)

None of the docs tell me how to change fonts and/or font colors. My step.rc file doesn't say anything about that either. I am running the latest version of IndieLiteStep along with the Simplicity theme.

go into x:\litestep\themes\simplicity\config. then, you need to find which *.rc's to edit. there's one for popup, , tasks, etc.

reading this thread makes me wonder how these new LS users would have survived back in the early b24 days. back when the manual consisted for a single HTML document and an irc channel.

they didn't ;)
ls is spreading and many new folks, who really even don't know basic html try it out. so they don't know how to help themselves.
when i first tried out ls (it was back in the old days:), i was really young (12y) and all i managed to create was a popup. actually now when i look back a little bit it didn't seem to be so hard, i was just too unpatient and the graphics-editing was really the problem. i guess people are just so tired of bill's interface and want something new, only they aren't used to editing text and tweaking. bill has spoiled them :)
