taskbar3 v0.305 - No Flashing skin (... and more) Thread last updated on 2003-06-12 01:11:46

I've just put the new version of taskbar3 into my theme to take advantage of "real" flashing. But I've found if I have TaskbarUseRealFlashing set to true the application appears on the taskbar but the TaskbarFlashing skins don't appear. If TaskbarUseRealFlashing is set to false the skins apear as normal, but don't flash of course. Is anyone else experiancing this problem?

do you have the taskbuttonflash set to true ?
the path it is correct in taskbuttonflashskin ?

Taskbuttonflash doesn't exist in the version 0.305 of taskbar3. At least it't not in the documentation. I tried it anyway and made no difference.

The path is set correctly for the skins. If I set TaskbarUseRealFlashing to false the skins appear as expected. But they don't flash.

I've also found that selecting an application on the taskbar that is on a different desktop to the current one won't automatically switch me to that desk. I use RabidVWM.

Is anyone using v0.305 of Taskbar3 without experiancing any bugs?

I just upgraded to .305, and I have the exact same problem, with or without the TaskButtonFlash true.

I e-mailed the author, jesus_mjjg, yesterday but haven't recieved a reply yet.

For now I've changed back to v0.303 which is a shame as I was really hoping to have taskbar flashing featured in my theme before I released it.
