I got Litestep a little while ago and I just setup a lsxcommand, and ever since then, i've had a little grey box near the top-left of my screen.
Any ideas on how to get rid of it?
Also, is there any way i can have a wallpaper in litestep that's different from the one in explorer?
ok, first of all, that "little grey box" IS lsxcommand. by default, it appears in the top left of your screen. go on, type something in there (ex. c: or "c:\program files"). and second, huh?!? you're not running explorer any more. so no, it's not possible to have a different wallpaper, cause you're not running explorer, so it doesn't have a wallpaper. but what you meant to ask (I'm assuming), is how to choose a different wallpaper. well, you should just be able to pick a different one. just go into control panel->display->desktop, and choose a different one.
I know how to choose a different wallpaper. And that Evil Little Box is NOT lsxcommand; lsxcommand is at 176,0 and the box is at 0,24...
Could be an undefined label...but they always show up white...or it could be the system tray.
an "undefined" label's color depends on the system color scheme, so even if it's grey it could be that...
Yep, it was an annyoing little label...
