I gave up and making litestep work for me. It worked fine on 2kpro, but I just recently upgraded to XP. And it just crashes everytime I run photoshop or notepad. So I uninstalled, the folder is still there. But for some reason I cant get rid of CLTASK.exe from my tasks. Ive a suspicion that that's what causes my frequent crashes now.

So if anyone could help me out, how do I permanantly remove a task such as CLTASK.exe?

Well...CLTask is not part of LS but you can look in your System Information tool and find where it is being loaded, Startup or Registry, and disable it.

http://www.mlin.net/

Head for the Startup Control Panel and that should make life easier for you in enabling/disabling startup items.
