Hiya to the litestep.net community! There's a question posted in the litestep section of "Demented forum" so as a mod of the forum, i believe why not i post this in here where they might be better responses to the below mentioned question? Thank you in advance. ;)

Hi,

Maybe that is not a big important issue but I noticed that I can't run some DOS applications while using Litestep. The apps that I do run have so sound and run exceptionally slowly.

The other issue is that, while I can run games without any problem so far while using Litestep, I have one and only ONE game (Roboforge) that does not run at all while in Litestep, it not only doesn't run but freezes the whole computer as well, even the mouse stops moving.

Both issues always happen regardless of the theme I'm using.

Like I said, these may not be big issues, since when I want to run Roboforge I go back to Explorer and when I want DOS I restart in DOS mode.

So... does anyone know something about this?

LS doesn't change anything related to DOS. Personally I have never gotten DOS games to use my sound card in 2K...so that might be your problem right there.

As for games freezing up while yer in LS. Did you happen to install WindowBlinds or something along those lines when you did LS? WindowBlinds skrews up all kinds of games for me.

Also, you can start unloading one module, try the game, reload that module and unload another, etc. If it works with one module unloaded then you can try to find a similar module to replace it with, or you can just set up a hotkey pointing to a script that will load/unload the module for you. If this is possible without refreshing Litestep each time?

In reply to first post by devilboi,
this is the person's reply, "No, I never used WIndowBlinds. But my games work perfectly, except for this Roboforge, surely is something reagarding thi s game, maybe because it is JAVA? Even so it is very strange."
