Is there a way to pre-define pinned popups, perhaps in the step.rc, so that the popups will start pinned without having to set them up with the mouse after every recycle?

If not, is there a module that will act in a similar way? I am trying to do something related to a dynamic quicklaunch bar, but so far all the modules that I have tried are either too old or only allow one instance. Anyone have some tips or suggestions?

You could !hook some labels into an lsbox. If you need subfolders you could try LSLnkMenu.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have been using LSLnkMenu (I should have mentioned that), but I like Popup2's approach to showing folders of shortcuts.

Is there a way to get LSLnkMenu to make a certain lnkmenu 'stay open', showing all the shortcuts?
