Hey, I'm a newbie litestep programmer, and I was wondering if there's any way to launch an event when the user rolls over a task in taskbar3.dll. (Specifically show what the task is, when the mouse rolls over it.)

no, this is not possible, not in taskbar3 or tasks.dll. it taskbar3 you can see flashing, normal, active and minized buttons, but no mouse over :)
