Hey folks!

Wow, it's been simply ages since I last used LiteStep.
I think the last time was back when I first migrated over to Win2K and LiteStep didn't want to work.

I've come back occasionally, and see LS is still thriving!
So I'm going to eventually hop back onto the LS bandwagon (Yay!)

What I'm curious about is the difference in the builds. I'm aware there are several branches of LiteStep being developed, and don't know the difference, pros and cons.

Any information would be greatly appreciated :)

Also, a problem that I'm still having is that explorer under win2k keeps butting in when I want to view files, it doesnt seem to parse the info passed to it by litestep thats supposed to make it relaunch the explorer shell.

I have LS indie build (newest version installed on win2k server and it works just dandy. There were a few small issues, but nothing that isn't normal (like the taskbar not refreshing!).

I haven't had any issues with explorer butting in. It actually removed quite easily. Later I also added a shell-switcher to allow me to get back to explorer quickly and easily.. there is a problem with it, but I think that's due to my choice in switchers.. I'll d/l a newer/better one when I get the time :).

*yawns as he wakes up*
Had a play with LS last night, it's had some kickass improvements like control structures, etc! (If, Then, Else, Elseif - very cool)

I grabbed LiteStep from lsdev at ShellFront - http://shellfront.org/lsdev/

Any word on the explorer problem? (Rather a pain when developing websites)

check http://indiestep.sourceforge.net for a more recent build than the one on ShellFront ;) (shameless plug)
