okay, so i had to format my system and with a fresh win2k setup, with sp3 and no other windows' updates, i install litestep. i setup the theme i always use. i go to run explorer (file manager) and it pops up the whole shell and not just an exploring window. it sets my background as whatever i was just doing in litestep and windows is running as if litestep werent there.

has anyone else seen this happen or now a work around for it? it does this with both the latest OTS build and the 2.01 release as well.

There are probably 30 other threads on this problem. It is caused by registry keys not being set properly. Check the docs and try reinstalling again by hand.
