Hey chujo I had the same prob don't know about games but its pretty simple if your explorer.exe is set to high priority then yougot the same prob as I did I used an app ( using it right now) processswitch free the strats up and sets explorer to normal priority so when exploring files or dragging explorer windows, audio does not delay.
This problem has nothing to do with hardware or drivers I got an audigy2, its just the even setting certain processes to high priority makes your os no do anything else funny thing is that..........aghh take to long to retype just read my recent posts ok.
Hey one last thing is your maxtor seagate quiter? and do youhave the diamondmax plus 9, I just wanna get the quitest 80 gig drive.
